XIA PFAFFENZELLER, Dipl.-Phys. Dr. rer.
nat., (German Patent Attorney, European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney)
majored in Solid State Physics at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. After
being awarded her Science Masters degree, she taught physics at Beijing
Technology Institute for more than three years. Afterwards she worked for
two years as an account manager of the Medical Group of Hewlett-Packard in
Beijing. After finishing her Ph.D. at RWTH Aachen in Germany, she worked for
two years as a consultant for network security at Secaron AG in Munich. Her
main interests are medical instruments, physical measuring and analysis
