DR. THOMAS L. BITTNER Dipl.-Phys., Dr.rer.nat. (German Patent
Attorney, European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney) studied physics at the Humboldt-University of
Berlin. As a scholarshipholder of the Alexander-von-Humboldt-Foundation
he worked for 11( years at Argonne National Laboratory (U.S.). From 1995 to
1997 he worked at the Intellectual Property Department of IBM Germany. He
practises in many fields of physics and electronics, specialising in
