SIBYLLA M. GRAHN Dipl.-Biochem., Dr.
rer. nat., (German Patent Attorney, European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney) studied biochemistry at the University of Leipzig. During her PhD
thesis she developed assays to study serine proteases utilizing fluorescence
resonance energy transfer. Afterwards, she worked on isotopic labelling of serpins by protein splicing at the Brandeis University, Boston, MA. During
her postdoctoral stay at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA, she
developed biosensors based on antibody fragments and solvatchromatic
fluorophores for use in living cells. Her main interests are in the fields
of biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, immunology and biotechnology.
