DENNIS KRETSCHMANN Dipl.-Phys., Dr.
rer. nat., studied physics at Technische Universität Braunschweig and was a
Fulbright scholar at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, USA. For his PhD he
researched quantum information science at Technische Universität
Braunschweig and Cambridge University, U.K. where he investigated how
quintessentially quantum physical effects can be employed to store, transfer
or process information. He complemented his research work as a DAAD fellow
and guest scientist at the University of Pavia, Italy. His work lies in many
areas of physics, electrical engineering, and information technology.
