JAN BERND NORDEMANN Prof. Dr. jur., LL.M., (Attorney at Law, European
Trademark Attorney) studied law in Göttingen and obtained his doctorate in German and European Competition
law. He was a research fellow at the Institute for Foreign and International Business Law of the
University of Göttingen. He obtained a Master-of-Law degree in Cambridge (England) in international
antitrust and copyright law as well as European Community law. He has specialised in competition and
anti-trust law as well as in copyright and media law. At the Humboldt-Universität of Berlin he lectures
in copyright, trademark and unfair competition law.
