JON GOWSHALL (British and European
Patent Attorney) graduated BSc (Hons.) in biochemistry at Kings College,
London University and qualified as a patent attorney in 1989. His particular
expertise lies in patent law relating to all aspects of biochemistry,
including pharmacology, immunology and genetic engineering. He is a member
of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Patent Agents, and is the Chair
