HOLGER DORMANN, Dipl.-Biochem. Ph.D.
(Rockefeller Univ.), Dipl.-Biochem. Ph.D. (Rockefeller Univ.), studied
biochemistry at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and at the Rockefeller
University in New York. His research focused on protein translocation into
the endoplasmic reticulum and on the nuclear pore complex of eukaryotic
cells. For his doctoral degree, which he also obtained from the Rockefeller
University, he worked on a research project in the area of histone
modifications and chromatin biology. His particular interests lie in the
fields of biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, pharmacology, and
