GEORG J. HOPPE, Dipl.-Biochem. Dr. rer. nat., (German Patent
Attorney) studied medicine, chemistry and biochemistry at the Free
University in Berlin. After receiving his Masters degree in biochemistry, he
worked as a Visiting Scientist at the Harvard Medical School in Boston (USA)
in the area of Chromatin structure. He received his Doctorate degree in this
field from the Free University in Berlin. His technical areas of expertise
lie in the fields of biotechnology, immunology, food chemistry, and
