DIETER LAUDIEN Dipl.-Chem., (German
Patent Attorney, European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney) studied chemistry
at the University of Frankfurt. From 1967 to 1980 he worked at the
Intellectual Property Department of ENKA AG (AKZO), thereafter at the Patent
Division of Boehringer Ingelheim, which he headed from 1981 to 2002. During
this time he was member or chairman of IP committees of industry, chemical
and pharmaceutical associations. He is particularly involved in the fields
of patenting and licensing pharmaceuticals.
