CARSTEN JUNKER, Dipl.-Ing. Dr.,
studied Mechanical Engineering at the Fachhochschule Koblenz and
Occupational Health and Ergonomics at the National University of Ireland,
Galway, where he acquired his Ph.D. in the area of atmospheric fine dust
measurements. Later, he held post-doc positions at the Centre National de la
Recherche Scientifique, Toulouse, and at the National Central University,
Taiwan, where he continued working in the area of emission control and
climate research. Subsequently he worked in a Taiwanese patent and law
office. His areas of expertise are mechanical engineering, occupational
safety and environmental technology. Dr. Junker is fluent in English and
French and also has knowledge of the Chinese and Japanese languages.
