DR. CARL-RICHARD HAARMANN Dr.jur., (Attorney at Law, European Trade
Mark Attorney) studied law at the Universities of Freiburg, Heidelberg and Münster as well as at the
Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. He wrote his doctoral thesis on legal questions of contract law.
Besides working in trade mark law, he is mainly involved in copyright law and unfair competition law and
specialises in problems of trade mark and product piracy and of the Internet.
