DR. ANDREAS WINKLER Dr.rer.nat., (German Patent Attorney, European
Patent and Trade Mark Attorney) studied chemistry and mathematics at the Technical University of
Braunschweig and the ETH Zürich and worked as an Assistant Professor at the Organic Chemistry Department
of the University of Braunschweig. He received his PhD in the synthesis of unsaturated bicyclic
organic compounds and their behaviour in free radical addition reactions. He is particularly interested
in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, additives and catalysts, including genetic engineering.
